Cabo San Lucas - San José del Cabo - Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos does have a public transportation bus service, known as Subercabos. These buses run between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo all day, every day of the week. They start running in San Jose at about 5:00 am; in Cabo they start at 5:20 am, and run until 9:30 pm or 10:00 pm.

Bus Service and Schedules in Baja California and Baja California Sur

US Service:
From the US: Greyhound runs from Los Angeles and San Diego to Tijuana.

From Tijuana to Los Cabos:
Three major bus companies, Autotransportes de Baja California (ABC), Transportes Aquila and Tres Estrelles de Oro provide efficient service on the peninsula with modern, clean, fast buses. The trip can be made in 24 hours. Call the Tijuana terminal for schedules and rates (from the US: 011-52 currently out of service..

From Los Cabos International Airport to La Paz:
Airport shuttles run the 10 miles regularly from the Los Cabos Airport to San Jose del Cabo. They take bicycles on top. From San José del Cabo there are 2 bus routes north to La Paz. The eastern route is shorter but the time is longer because it is mountainous and the bus makes as many stops as needed for passengers. The western route runs through Todos Santos on the Pacific side. Ten buses a day run from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.


From La Paz to Loreto:

The only major bus company with service to Loreto is Transportes Aquila. The trip takes 4 to 5 hours. Some buses are air conditioned, some have videos. Departures: 7:00 a.m.; 12:00 noon; 2:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m.
Price: $337 pesos, per person, one way.

From La Paz to Tijuana:

Service from La Paz to Tijuana with Transportes Aquila. The trip takes 24 hours. Some buses are air conditioned, some have videos. Departures: 7:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m.; 8:00 p.m.
Price: $1,400 pesos, per person, one way.

From Tijuana to Loreto: Price: $1,063.00 pesos, per person, one-way. Departing every two hours

From Tijuana to La Paz: Price: $1,510.00 pesos, per person, one-way. Departing every two hours

From Tijuana to Los Cabos: Price: $1,661.00 pesos, per person, one-way. Departures: 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
